Academy of Music!

Located in West Chester, Ohio (1.5 miles north of I-275), Indian Springs Academy of Music (ISAM) offers a wide variety of private and group lessons in traditional piano, Jazz piano, violin, viola, cello, voice (traditional and youth and musical theater), clarinet, flute, guitar, saxophone and music theory, music history and harmony.

Offerings include a 12 level Developmental Piano Program, a unique Jazz studies program, a special program for Home Schooled students, and a variety of Music Theory Classes, including Harmony and History. Weekly private lessons are offered throughout the year; theory classes begin in September, January and June.

ISAM was founded in 1995 by pianist Sheila Vail. Ms. Vail, a graduate of Peabody Conservatory of Music, was previously on the faculty of University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music Preparatory Department and is the current managing director of ISAM. She is joined by thirteen other professional instructors.

Offering both traditional and non-traditional study programs, the goal of the Indian Springs Academy of Music is to provide students a healthy learning environment in which to grow musically.

The traditional musical education works to produce an artistic level of skill, and develop performance ability through private and group instruction, periodic examination and recital performances.

Recreational and non-traditional study programs explore contemporary genres and styles that encourage musical creativity! ISAM’s Piano Jazz Studies Program is designed in three tracks for all levels of playing- including beginners! For details go here.
